Can We Get Into Heaven By Grace Alone?

Some are saying that the New Testament teaching is that we do not have to do anything but believe in the works of Jesus Christ.  Why does the bible teach that faith without works is dead faith?  Why does the bible teach that God judges our soul?  Why does the bible teach that one must be born-again to enter into the kingdom of heaven?  If all we have to do is believe, then why did Jesus say He will send the Holy Spirit to help us?   Jesus stated that the scribes and pharisees were righteous, but our righteousness must exceed theirs to enter into the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5/19-20)..  Yes!  we have a part to play and that is to yield to the Holy Spirit, who will bring all that Jesus taught to our remembrance, when we are tested or tempted to sin. The bible teaches that we cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven unless we are pure and holy, born of the Spirit.  See the book of John for Jesus' teaching on the Holy Spirit.  If we did not need help to become pure and holy, we would not need the help that Jesus said He would send through the Holy Spirit.  It is the Holy Spirit who purifies us through the Word.  To believe otherwise is wrong teaching, and blatant disregard for the Holy Spirit.  We cannot make ourselves righteous.  We are made righteous when we yield to the voice of the Holy Spirit, then the Written Word comes alive in our lives and it is a continuous washing of the Word and a continuous yielding to the Word when we are tested..  To teach otherwise is anti-christ. The bible warns us to test the spirits 1 John 4.

Shalom to all my friends

my salvation is in Jesus Christ and in him alone any other way is not possible and in that i glory in the cross of Calvary that takes away my sin and i plea the blood of Jesus over my life and my family not by works lest any man should boast but yes if we are in Jesus we will be changed by the Holy Ghost but his Grace is the only thing that saves us.
