This controversial subject is brought up in every denomination from time to time, because of Paul's message to Timothy (see 1 Timothy chapter 2). Here is the truth in a nutshell.
John chapter 3 once a person is "born-again", (of water and Spirit), not human flesh, they will enter into a place of rest, (heaven). The Holy Spirit enters the born-again individual and begins to mold that individual into the image of the living God. John chapter 16 tells us what the Holy Spirit will do in the believer's life. 1 John 2/27 But the anointing which you have received of him (Jesus) abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, you shall abide in HIM. These days most women are raising children alone the fathers of these children are AWOL/MIA. Even most of the fathers who are at home is still AWOL/MIA. They have a "form" of Godliness and deny the power "Agape' Love". Jeremiah's 31/31/ prophecy began to unfold when Jesus left this planet and is still unfolding. I was born-again filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and signs, wonders and miracles following. No man can tell me any different. Praise be to my Jesus Christ. For by His Grace was I saved and not of myself lest I should boast!. I do not depend on my natural husband to be my Spiritual head, because no one knows what is in the heart of the natural man. I have a key to the Kingdom and I can come and go as I very well please. Jesus said seek first the Kingdom of heaven! My Spiritual husband "Jesus Christ" does not put pressure on me, but my love for Him and His Spirit in me causes me to give Him my best and that is all that should matter to anyone. Jesus is the Spiritual husband of the born-again believer. Jeremiah did say a woman shall lead a man (Jeremiah 31/22), we are witnessing this prophecy right now........Perhaps you should take a consensus of the men in your church to see how many real christian men there are that is worthy of being a spiritual husband to his wife. Not that I believe the man should be a spiritual "head" . Many people get Paul's messages confused. We have to consider the times then and now. Also Spiritual things are truly Spiritually discerned.
