Husbands Love Your Wife Even As Christ Also Loved the Church.......

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it, that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself. (Ephesians chapter 5 verses 25 through 28).

WoW! Now that is a tall order! Jesus Christ died for his church and He is saying here through Paul's revelation that the husband must die for his wife. Paul was never even married. What does he know about the love of a husband to his wife? Why is Paul so determined to bring about a loving relationship between the husband and the wife? Why did Paul address the husband in this manner? Could it be that he had a revelation of what happened in the Garden of Eden? After all, Adam was first born and G-d had already warned Adam about certain things in the garden. Perhaps Paul has realized that Adam did not love his wife enough to warn her about being disobedient to G-d and the repercussions it will bring. Also Paul I believe got the revelation that G-d is looking for a Godly family (Malachi chapter 2) and the only way this can come about is when the husband (head of household) truly loves his wife enough that he will not hurt her in any way. He will die for her.

This is the Word of the Lord, please pay heed, for G-d will watched over His Word to perform it to completion and what joy and peace it will bring to that family. Alleluia!!!!

Shalom to all my friends

This is good ...HOWEVER ...PAUL HAD to have been MARRIED ...in order for him to have been a member of the Sanhedrin .

He may not have been leading around a wife at the time of this epistle being inspired for him to write as moved by the Holy Spirit ...but he had to have had a wife at some point..

IN order to qualify for being a leader they had to have been a faithful husband of ONE wife as well...

Maybe further study into this is worthy

God is the author so the experience of those who wrote were not the criteria for our consideration .However the life experiences of Paul as he applied the inspired word of God are recorded for our learning as well.
