My heart hurts for this generation
Many are so lost in this great Nation 

Oh the pain they are going through
They have more knowledge of earthly things than me and you
They got sophisticated toys, TV and Internet, and still don't know what to do 

They seem to be lost in a world of their own
Many have gifts and talents that may never be shown

They are using the "net" for selfish deeds  
Trying to find someone who will fill their empty needs
Not realizing their selfish needs can turn into evil seeds

Looking for love in all the wrong places
Putting up their pictures for all to see their faces

Many end up in the hands of the "predator" 
Some scout the "net" for innocent victims to devour
Sent by Satan to rape, steal, kill and destroy those not having a "Savior"

Mothers and Fathers busy going to work
Not knowing that their innocent ones are being "took"
Only when it is too late do they stop and look

Father, I pray for those that do not know
Hear my prayer Lord, arrest the hearts, minds and souls

That girl and boy who have so many electronic toys
They are empty inside and is easy prey for Satan's ploys

 

Help the mothers and fathers Lord, as only You can do
Open their eyes, ears, hearts and minds Lord, draw them close to You

Give them peace, joy and love Lord, and a good measure of wisdom too
Lead them not into temptation to sin against You

Deliver them from the evil one Lord and set them aside
You said You will hear my cries and You know the pain I feel inside 

My heart is broken for those who are lost
Father, I will do whatever and no matter the cost 

Someone died today Lord who did not know how to pray
Perhaps their soul is now in hell and it is too late
They did not hear the gospel because someone delayed

Turn the hearts of the Fathers to their lost children
Lord, I pray you give them grace, mercy and good discernment

Heavenly Father, my heart is burdened
I know Your heart is also saddened

When You walked this planet in the days of old
You knew how history will unfold

You sweat drops of blood in the garden of Gethsemane
You, the Lord of Host was down on Your knees!

You demonstrated, love such as no man can emulate
Not then, not now and not even at a later date

This simple prayer, I offer in love
For those still alive, please send your heavenly dove

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray
Please dear Lord, please don't delay.
